Carahsoft Technology and Polaris I/O have partnered to bring Polaris I/O’s artificial intelligence-enabled decision intelligence platform to federal, defense and intelligence agencies.

How Will Carahsoft Support Polaris I/O Through the Partnership?
Carahsoft said Wednesday it will serve as Polaris I/O’s Master Government Aggregator, offering the decision intelligence platform to public sector buyers through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and contract vehicles, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, OMNIA Partners, The Interlocal Purchasing System, E&I Cooperative Services and The Quilt contracts.
Beyond procurement access, Carahsoft will support Polaris I/O’s public sector outreach through its sales teams, marketing programs, partner networks and industry events.
What Does the Polaris I/O Platform Do?
The Polaris I/O platform uses AI-enabled signal detection, relationship mapping, entity extraction and pattern recognition to process structured and unstructured data drawn from intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; open-source intelligence; human intelligence; signals intelligence; and geospatial intelligence, as well as from sensor feeds, reports and procurement records. The platform is designed to reduce the time analysts spend on manual data discovery and parsing, allowing them to focus on producing intelligence for commanders and other decision-makers.
What Did Polaris I/O & Carahsoft Officials Say About the Partnership?
Ankur Laroia, strategic adviser at Polaris I/O, said working with Carahsoft will help the company speed delivery of its capabilities to mission teams by drawing on the distributor’s existing ties with federal, defense and intelligence agencies.
“As our partner, Carahsoft gives Polaris I/O a trusted, familiar path into the agencies we’re built to serve, and that means faster delivery of the decision intelligence our mission partners rely on,” Laroia added.
Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, noted that the platform continuously monitors and analyzes complex data environments, enabling agencies to detect emerging risks and patterns and support decision-making.
“Together with our reseller partners, Carahsoft and Polaris I/O are helping agencies accelerate the adoption of decision intelligence,” Shrader stated.
In an Executive Spotlight interview, Shrader said Carahsoft has been investing in open-source intelligence after identifying early government demand for technologies that draw on publicly and commercially available data, including social media, ad-tech and maritime shipping data. He also discussed the growing number of AI-driven prototype and research and development programs moving into production.
What Are Carahsoft’s Other Intelligence Partnerships?
In January, Carahsoft partnered with Threat Digital to distribute the company’s AI-powered governance platform, DiligenAI, to government customers. The company also teamed up with TextOre to offer OSINT services to public sector clients.
Around the same time, Carahsoft agreed to provide WhoMeta’s Arqent OS platform, which delivers geospatial monitoring and situational intelligence capabilities. Later that month, it joined forces with Janes to bring the latter’s intelligence platforms to U.S. government agencies.
In June, US AI selected Carahsoft to distribute its Intelligent Computing Platform, including the agentic AI-based Archangel platform. The following month, Carahsoft signed agreements to deliver Rocketgraph’s graph analytics platform and Panoptica’s AI-enabled Watchtower threat intelligence platform.
The company most recently added Melissa’s data quality and OSINT tools to its public sector portfolio.
