Oracle is expanding its presence in Nashville, Tennessee, with a new 116,000-square-foot lease at The Neuhoff District, increasing its local office capacity to about 2,000 seats as the company scales cloud and artificial intelligence operations.
The company said Thursday the expansion supports continued hiring across engineering, product development and business roles tied to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and next-generation AI platforms.
“New candidates as well as our existing Oracle employees are increasingly energized by what we are building here in Nashville,” said Scott Twaddle, senior vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
From its newly occupied space at Neuhoff, Oracle will oversee the development of its new headquarters on the Cumberland River’s East Bank.
How Does the Expansion Connect to Oracle’s Federal and Defense Work?
The Nashville expansion comes amid the growing deployment of its platforms across federal and defense environments.
The company recently secured Defense Information Systems Agency Impact Level 5 and Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High authorizations for multiple Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, including generative AI, database and disaster recovery tools. These approvals allow government customers to deploy advanced AI and data services while meeting strict security requirements.
Oracle is also expanding its role in federal modernization, supporting agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in migrating mission-critical workloads to secure cloud environments, while delivering cloud capabilities to the U.S. Air Force under an $88 million Cloud One task order.
How Is Oracle Supporting Talent Development in Nashville?
Oracle said workforce development and community engagement remain central to its Nashville strategy.
The company partners with local universities and technical institutions, including Belmont University, through programs such as Oracle Academy to provide training and hands-on experience in cloud, data and AI technologies.
These efforts are intended to strengthen the regional talent pipeline and position Nashville as a growing hub of technology innovation.
