- The platform’s AI agents cite verifiable sources
- The platform covers over 65 million awards since 2000
- The 2027 GovCon Executive Leadership Summit will explore agentic AI and more
Procurement Sciences has made Market Intelligence by HigherGov available in its Awarded AI platform to help government contractors use artificial intelligence agents and over 100 million federal, state and local contracting records to identify opportunities, analyze competitors, plan capture efforts and develop proposals.

Contractors are adopting new technologies to compete for federal work as commercial providers and nontraditional companies enter the government market. C-suite and senior executives will examine capture strategy, evolving acquisition processes and alignment with agency priorities at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2027 GovCon Executive Leadership Summit on Feb. 25, where panels will cover the role of established primes, defense innovators’ efforts to field new capabilities, Golden Dome technology development amid budget uncertainty, and agentic AI and the evolving cyberthreat landscape. What Is Market Intelligence by HigherGov?
The company said Monday Market Intelligence by HigherGov is a data offering within Awarded AI designed to give users access to government contracting records, including over 65 million contract and grant awards issued since 2000. Users can review spending trends, market share and competitive rankings by keyword and fiscal year, and examine historical prime, indefinite-delivery vehicle and subcontract awards with incumbent contractors and performance periods identified.
The offering includes over 1 million company profiles for competitor and teaming research, data on agency spending patterns and top awardees, alerts for new awards, and pricing benchmarks based on over 450,000 published labor rates.
Awarded AI’s agents answer user questions, such as which companies receive awards in a given market, using HigherGov data with cited sources. The agents also help teams develop capture and proposal strategies.
The capability is available across all supported Awarded AI environments, including deployments authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP. Procurement Sciences said it does not use customer data to train public AI models.
Christian Ferreira, founder and CEO of Procurement Sciences, said contractors should not need to pay higher costs for older tools that only add to the volume of data they must review.
“The future isn’t better search filters or another dashboard. It’s AI agents that actually do the research, analyze the market and help contractors win,” he added.
What Is Procurement Sciences?
Procurement Sciences is a government contracting technology company that offers Awarded AI, a platform that supports over 3,500 government contractors through capture, proposal, pricing and delivery work for federal, state, local and grant opportunities.
Established in 2022, the company has supported over $100 billion in AI-assisted awards and holds FedRAMP authorization and SOC 2 Type II certification.
What Other Moves Has Procurement Sciences Made to Expand Its GovCon AI Platform?
The launch of Market Intelligence by HigherGov builds on Procurement Sciences’ May acquisition of HigherGov, which brought HigherGov’s market intelligence and opportunity discovery capabilities together with the company’s AI-native GovCon platform.
Earlier in the year, the company acquired Rogue AI to strengthen its proposal automation and workflow intelligence capabilities. Rogue AI founder John Shahawy joined Procurement Sciences as head of product strategy. Procurement Sciences also received FedRAMP Moderate authorization for Awarded AI through a partnership with Knox Systems.
The acquisitions followed a $30 million Series B funding round in November 2025. Catalyst Investors led the round, with participation from Battery Ventures, Bosch Ventures and Citi, among others.
