Vertosoft has partnered with RapidSOS to combine its government procurement and channel enablement expertise with the latter’s artificial intelligence-powered technology to expand access to mission-critical emergency response data for agencies across the public sector.

Vertosoft said Thursday the partnership seeks to give federal, state, local government and higher education agencies streamlined access to RapidSOS’ technology through Vertosoft’s contract vehicles and partner ecosystem, linking critical data with emergency communications centers and first responders.
How Does the RapidSOS Technology Work?
Backed by RapidSOS Harmony AI, the company’s platform is designed to deliver verified emergency data — including precise location, medical information, live video and crash telemetry — to public safety professionals. The technology works by linking smartphones, vehicles, wearables, buildings, sensors and enterprise systems to what the company calls the Safety Network.
The partnership comes as public safety agencies adopt Next Generation 911 technologies and AI-assisted operations, developments associated with increased demand for interoperable emergency data. RapidSOS’ technology is designed to consolidate data that would otherwise reside in separate systems, providing dispatchers and first responders with a unified operational view during incidents.
What Did Vertosoft & RapidSOS Officials Say About the Partnership?
Jay Colavita, founder and president of Vertosoft, said RapidSOS is changing how emergency response organizations access and use critical information.
“Their purpose-built AI, Harmony AI, empowers emergency communications centers and first responders with the real-time intelligence needed to make faster, more informed decisions during critical incidents,” Colavita stated. “By bringing RapidSOS into our portfolio, we’re expanding access to technology that supports public safety modernization and helps government agencies strengthen mission readiness while ultimately improving outcomes for the citizens they serve.”
Karin Marquez, chief public safety brand officer at RapidSOS, said Vertosoft’s background in government procurement and channel enablement removes barriers that often separate public safety agencies from needed technology.
“By joining forces, we’re making it easier for federal, state, local, and higher education agencies to connect to the Safety Network and put critical, real-time intelligence directly in the hands of the responders who rely on it most every day,” Marquez added.
How Does the Partnership Align With Vertosoft’s Recent Growth Initiatives?
The partnership with RapidSOS adds to a series of technology alliances Vertosoft has announced this year. In August, the company partnered with Datadog to bring its AI-powered cloud monitoring platform to public sector customers. In June, it teamed up with Huntress to expand access to an agentic security platform for government customers. In January, Vertosoft named Hollie Kapos vice president of legal and contracts, its first in-house attorney hire.
The company closed out 2025 with distribution deals with Sonatype for software supply chain security tools and Gigamon for deep observability technology, along with a partnership with Ontic on federal threat intelligence.
These moves reflect the priorities Colavita has laid out for the company. In an Executive Spotlight interview, he told ExecutiveBiz that emerging technologies such as AI, zero trust cybersecurity and edge computing will play an increasingly critical role in government operations, and that compliance remains a foundational part of Vertosoft’s approach.
