SAIC will work to enhance its capability to integrate artificial intelligence into the existing systems of defense, intelligence, space and civilian customers through its “AI at the Edge” strategic alliance with Google Public Sector.

Improving SAIC’s Role as Mission Integrator

The partnership, aimed at accelerating AI adoption, enhancing mission outcomes and driving greater efficiency for agencies across the government, will work to enable the delivery of the Google Distributed Cloud platform to clients to ensure secure access to critical data in real-time, even in disconnected or intermittent environments, SAIC said Wednesday.

The cloud platform is expected to enable government users to make informed decisions, automate critical tasks through AI-driven applications, and co-develop and deploy innovative AI solutions tailored to specific customer needs, while ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory requirements.

“SAIC is excited to join forces with Google Public Sector to drive AI at the Edge solutions for our nation’s critical missions,” said Lauren Knausenberger, executive vice president and chief innovation officer of SAIC and a three-time Wash100 Award recipient.

“By integrating our expertise in technology for defense, intelligence, space and federal civilian sectors with Google Cloud’s cutting-edge AI and machine learning tools, we are uniquely positioned to deliver secure, scalable, and impactful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our government clients,” Knausenberger said.

According to the company, it is one of the first system integrators to take Google Distributed Cloud to market.
