LMI recently announced on LinkedIn that its IronSled software development and cybersecurity offering is now available through Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, the acquisition ecosystem of the Department of War’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.
What Is LMI’s IronSled?
IronSled is a DevSecOps offering built on a secure internal developer platform for software development and security activities in government-authorized environments, with activities spanning development, evaluation, security validation and deployment. It operates in cloud and on-premises settings and includes automated security scanning, remediation and authority to operate artifact generation. Government agencies can use IronSled to assess commercial technologies before acquiring them, while vendors can use it for integrated testing and evaluation.
What Other LMI Offerings Are Available on Tradewinds?
IronSled joins several other LMI technologies available through the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. In June, LMI added its SHEPRD digital threat management platform, which is designed to help military protection cells prioritize risks and coordinate defense operations. The platform combines asset, threat, terrain, route and protection-effect data into a common operating picture.
In May, LMI’s RAPTR modeling, simulation and analysis platform received “Awardable” status on Tradewinds. RAPTR supports analysis in mission domains and security classifications through tools, including an extensible data library and visualization capabilities. LMI has also used the platform for space mission analysis and resilience work.
LMI’s SPECTR asset tracking and visibility platform was added to the marketplace in January. SPECTR combines sensor mesh technology, GPS, passive radio frequency identification, secure data collection and analytics for tracking assets in operational environments, including logistics, training and fleet activities.
