Carahsoft will distribute PSJ Consulting’s advisory and technology services to public sector buyers under a partnership announced Thursday. The Reston, Virginia, distributor said it takes the master government aggregator role, offering the services through its reseller network and contract vehicles.
PSJ Consulting works both sides of the federal market. It sells to federal, state and local agencies, and separately to the government contractors that hold work with them.
What Services Does PSJ Consulting Offer?
Five areas make up the portfolio: human resources consulting, managed services, data architecture and analytics enablement, professional services automation and cybersecurity, and readiness work covering the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and broader government contracting compliance.
Carahsoft said the services could help organizations improve workforce strategy, delivery capacity and decision-making, and bring accounting, timekeeping, labor distribution and cost documentation into line with what federal contracting requires.
Which Contract Vehicles Carry the Services?
PSJ Consulting’s offerings are available through the National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint, The Interlocal Purchasing System, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract and The Quilt contract vehicles.
Where Does Projectworks Fit?
PSJ Consulting also holds a partnership with Projectworks, a professional services automation platform that pulls project financials, resource planning, time tracking, expenses, invoicing, forecasting and reporting into one system.
Carahsoft said the combination supports Defense Contract Audit Agency-aligned time-and-expense controls and audit-ready cost documentation. Projectworks is still working through onboarding into Carahsoft’s ecosystem.
How Does PSJ Consulting Fit Carahsoft’s Compliance Portfolio?
Carahsoft has spent the past year adding CMMC offerings aimed at defense contractors.
Zifino’s Zintegrity was added to the catalog in March. The platform runs a deterministic AI architecture that checks evidence, policies and system security plans against Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-171 requirements, then routes gaps into remediation workflows.
CMMC Compliance 360 arrived in October, built with Redspin, Kiteworks and Cyturus. Redspin handles assessment readiness as a certified third-party assessor, Kiteworks covers controlled unclassified information on a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Moderate platform, and Cyturus supplies automated assessment and evidence tracking. Carahsoft said the bundle includes preconfigured controls that address up to 90 percent of certification requirements.
The company has separately been adding AI governance tools with compliance functions, including platforms from 2Trust.AI and Credo AI.
