Virtualitics has appointed retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Scott Kindsvater to its board of advisers. The company said in a LinkedIn post Thursday that Kindsvater brings to the role a deep understanding of the roles of readiness, acquisition reform and decision advantage on the modern battlefield.

Who Is Scott Kindsvater?

Kindsvater has more than 30 years of service experience, including leadership of joint and coalition air missions.

He was commissioned in 1989 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. A command pilot with more than 3,600 flight hours, including over 600 combat hours in Iraq and Afghanistan, he has commanded fighter squadrons, expeditionary units and the 82nd Training Wing.

His resume also includes roles as deputy chief of staff for operations and intelligence at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and as deputy chairman of the NATO Military Committee, advising the NATO secretary general and overseeing alliance-level operational coordination.

Kindsvater currently serves as president of Kindsvater and Associates and holds advisory or board roles at multiple defense, aerospace and technology companies, including Virtualitics, where he has served as a strategic adviser since 2024.

What Is Virtualitics?

Virtualitics is an artificial intelligence company that develops data analytics and decision intelligence platforms for the Department of War.

The company has secured multiple military contracts, including a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research deal awarded by the Air Force Global Strike Command in July 2025 to advance its Integrated Readiness Optimization Materiel logistics optimization tool. AFGSC also renewed a contract in October to expand the Automated Master Storage Planning platform, which uses AI and 3D visualization to optimize munitions storage.

In November, Virtualitics won a contract with the Marine Corps’ 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing to deploy its IRO platform to support MV-22 Osprey fleet readiness.
