Wrap Technologies has entered into a distribution partnership with Carahsoft Technology to expand public sector access to its suite of non-lethal public safety technologies and training programs.

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as Wrap’s Master Government Aggregator, making the company’s offerings available to government customers through Carahsoft’s reseller network and procurement vehicles, including NASPO ValuePoint and OMNIA Partners contracts, according to a press release published Thursday.

Expanding Access to WrapPlus

At the center of Wrap’s offering is the WrapPlus subscription, which integrates the company’s three core products: BolaWrap 150, a patented, non-lethal restraint device designed to give officers critical time to de-escalate situations without resorting to force; WrapReality, a virtual reality-based training system that immerses users in realistic law enforcement scenarios to strengthen decision-making skills; and WrapVision, a North America-built body-worn camera and evidence management platform that offers advanced video quality and streamlined cloud integration.

Together, these technologies form an end-to-end capability that supports officer safety, accountability and readiness while helping agencies manage costs and reduce liabilities.

Strengthening Public Sector Reach

Wrap President and Chief Operating Officer Jared Novick said the partnership will make it easier for agencies to acquire the company’s offerings through established government procurement channels.

“Partnering with Carahsoft significantly enhances our ability to meet the urgent needs of public safety agencies across the country,” Novick said. “Their extensive distribution network and Government procurement expertise will provide a more efficient sales path to ensure our innovative, non-lethal tools and training platforms are readily accessible.”

Broadening Innovation in Counter-UAS Technology

Beyond its current portfolio, Wrap and Carahsoft plan to collaborate on expanding access to Wrap’s unmanned and counter-unmanned aerial system technologies, including the Merlin platform and PAN-DA handheld systems designed to counter rogue drone activity and bolster homeland security operations.

“As research and development of our Merlin and PAN-DA systems advance, we see potential to work with Carahsoft in ensuring these potentially lifesaving UAS and Counter-UAS solutions may be more rapidly accessible to public safety agencies,” Novick said.
