- Second Front’s Game Warden operates as a DevSecOps platform
- Game Warden gives vendors built-in AI tools for vulnerability research and remediation
- The platform already supports software deployments for the Veterans Community Care Program
The Department of Veterans Affairs has granted Second Front, or 2F, an authorization to operate for the company’s DevSecOps platform 2F Game Warden. The public-benefit software company said the authorization advances the VA’s strategy to put new tools in front of veterans.

What Does Game Warden Offer the VA?
According to 2F, the Game Warden DevSecOps platform lets the department pursue new priorities while reducing the cost and risk of buying technology for multiyear IT projects. The company said it also fits the VA’s focus on artificial intelligence and automation because it cuts redundant cloud certification reviews across government.
Software providers on the platform get embedded AI tools, including generative AI agents that research common vulnerabilities and exposures and fix flaws automatically. 2F said the tools help vendors avoid delays while meeting the department’s security requirements.
Game Warden deployments also include container scanning and automated security pipelines, which build on the VA’s current body-of-evidence process. The company said these features ease preparation under the department’s “ATO in 60 Days” memo, such as the security and privacy paperwork due after a contract award.
How Is 2F Supporting Veterans Community Care?
Game Warden already hosts commercial applications serving the Veterans Community Care Program. The program’s functions include eligibility determinations, processing of claims and reimbursements, and data on provider networks. According to the VA, the program generated more than $36 billion for local economies in fiscal year 2025.
Nick Woodruff, 2F’s general manager for North America, said safeguarding veterans’ data “demands some of the strictest security standards in government.” He said the authorization shows Game Warden can operate in any regulated setting, whether defense or civilian. He added that partnerships with customers help vendors reach the VA faster “so Veterans see new capabilities sooner.”
Where Else Is Game Warden Authorized?
According to 2F, Game Warden also covers Department of War impact levels, the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System and GovRAMP. The platform earned FedRAMP High certification in August 2025. It later became available on Google Cloud for FedRAMP High workloads through Carahsoft Technology. 2F has also integrated Game Warden with Microsoft’s Azure Government cloud.
