The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, has selected Everforth ECS Federal to deliver advisory, assistance and systems engineering services under a $30.9 million contract supporting its Multi X Office.
The Fairfax, Virginia-based company will provide technical, analytical and programmatic expertise for the office’s current and future programs, according to a Department of War contract announcement Friday.
What Are the Terms of the DARPA Contract?
DARPA received four bids for the competitively awarded, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. Everforth ECS will perform the work in Arlington, Virginia, with completion expected by October 2027.
At the time of award, the agency obligated $1.49 million in fiscal year 2026 funding for research, development, test and evaluation.
What Other Government Contracts Has Everforth ECS Won in 2026?
The DARPA award adds to a busy year for the contractor. In September, Everforth ECS won a spot on a potential $58 million Consumer Product Safety Commission data solutions blanket purchase agreement. It also received a $1.7 million initial task order to move a legacy SAS environment to the cloud.
In August, the company booked a $147.8 million Army contract to manage, transition and ultimately retire the SUNet legacy network. That same month, it landed a four-year, $30 million Defense Health Agency contract to build predictive AI models, dashboards and performance metrics for the Military Health System.
The company also holds a three-year, $115 million contract with the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory to develop and test AI capabilities under the Nautilus program.
How Did the Everforth ECS Brand Come About?
The company, formerly known as ECS, adopted its current name in April after its parent company ASGN rebranded as Everforth. The ECS Federal legal entity stayed the same, along with its contract vehicles, certifications and cleared personnel. The company said the change would expand collaboration across the Everforth enterprise for defense, intelligence and civilian agency customers.
