How Will Carahsoft Support Pointerra Under the Partnership?

Carahsoft said Wednesday it will serve as Pointerra’s public sector distributor, offering the Pointerra3D platform to government buyers through its reseller partners and contract vehicles, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, OMNIA Partners, The Interlocal Purchasing System and E&I Cooperative Services contracts.

What Is Pointerra3D?

Pointerra3D is a cloud-native geospatial data platform designed to help agencies, utilities, engineering firms and infrastructure operators store, view, analyze and share 3D data in one environment. It allows users to build and maintain digital twins of physical assets and examine detailed terrain and infrastructure data while collaborating across teams and mission areas.

The platform runs on Amazon Web Services and does not require specialized desktop software or advanced field hardware. Its modules help utilities track poles, measure spans and monitor programs through dashboards, as well as classify lidar data, perform condition-based risk assessments and detect encroachments.

What Did Pointerra & Carahsoft Officials Say About the Partnership?

“Carahsoft gives us a direct, trusted path into the Public Sector market,” said Brian Mayfield, CEO of Pointerra US. “Government agencies managing critical infrastructure face real procurement complexity, and this agreement removes much of that friction. It is an important step in extending Pointerra3D’s reach across Federal, State and Local Government.”

Lauren Regiec, geospatial and space tech team lead at Carahsoft, noted that agencies need tools to access, understand and share increasingly complex geospatial data.

“Together with our reseller partners, Carahsoft and Pointerra are helping public sector organizations leverage Pointerra3D to enhance their data workflows and support more informed decision-making,” Regiec stated.

What Are Carahsoft’s Other Recent Data & Intelligence Partnerships?

The Pointerra agreement adds to a series of partnerships Carahsoft has formed in 2026 to expand its public sector data and intelligence portfolio.

In January, Carahsoft agreed to provide WhoMeta’s Arqent OS platform, which delivers geospatial monitoring and situational intelligence capabilities. Later that month, the company joined forces with Janes to bring the latter’s intelligence platforms to U.S. government agencies.

In July, Carahsoft partnered with Rocketgraph to deliver a graph analytics platform that helps agencies identify relationships within their data. The company most recently took on the Master Government Aggregator role for Polaris I/O, whose AI-enabled decision intelligence platform processes multisource data, including geospatial intelligence.
