Carahsoft Technology will serve as HCLTech’s public sector distributor under a new agreement designed to broaden U.S. government access to artificial intelligence-enabled platforms, cloud modernization services and cybersecurity capabilities.

The arrangement, announced following the launch of HCLTech’s public sector-focused subsidiary, gives federal, state, local and education agencies a new pathway to procure the company’s technologies, Carahsoft said Tuesday, noting that it provides contracting, sales and go-to-market support in line with the partnership.

How Does the Partnership Expand Access to HCLTech’s Technology?

HCLTech’s offerings, built to improve operational efficiency and constituent-facing outcomes, are now available through Carahsoft’s cooperative purchasing vehicles, including National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract and The Quilt.

Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, said the collaboration is focused on enabling agencies to deploy technology at the speed and scale required to support mission delivery and cybersecurity posture.

What Is HCLTech’s Public Sector Strategy Behind the Agreement?

Commenting on the partnership, Arjun Sethi, chief growth officer for public sector and strategic segments at HCLTech, described the agreement as “an important step to drive IT efficiencies and modernize technology platforms across the public sector.”

“Public sector organizations face ever-increasing demands, such as enhancing constituent services, accelerating mission delivery, securing sensitive data and leveraging emerging technologies, including GenAI,” Sethi noted. “Together we bring a unique blend of trusted engineering, deep domain insight and channel enablement to help agencies achieve lasting outcomes.”
