RealmOne‘s Malware Sentinel has received awardable status on the Department of War’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, the company announced on LinkedIn.

What Is the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace?

The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace serves as a digital repository of videos from vendors that pitch how their technologies, products or services address the various artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital challenges Department of War customers face.

The offerings featured on TSM are deemed awardable, meaning they have undergone an evaluation against a standardized rubric and are now available for acquisition by DOW buyers without further competition.

What Is Malware Sentinel?

According to a column posted in July by RealmOne research and development lab RealmOne Foundry, Malware Sentinel is an automated malware analysis framework built on what the company calls “right-sized AI,” applying AI only to specific tasks. When an analyst uploads a suspicious file, separate services work to examine it simultaneously: disassembly breaks down its code, sandboxed detonation runs it in isolation, MITRE ATT&CK mapping matches its behavior to known attacker techniques, and threat intelligence enrichment checks outside data. A large language model agent works to combine the findings into a severity assessment and summary. Tool results and AI assessments are stored in a knowledge graph, a linked database that lets analysts compare new samples against past cases.

What Is RealmOne?

RealmOne, an Enlightenment Capital portfolio company, launched in January 2024 through the combination of iNovex, Innoplex, Secure Innovations and HTS Infosys. The firm provides cybersecurity and intelligence collection and analysis support to Department of War and intelligence community customers. In April 2024, it acquired Torin Consulting, a Reston, Virginia-based provider of software development, cybersecurity, network engineering and DevOps services.
