What Is the Air Force’s CyberSpace Innovation Contract?

The Department of War said Friday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is intended to support the Secretary of the Air Force Chief Information Office and the Department of the Air Force in rapidly accrediting emerging technologies. The effort will focus on assessing and remediating cyber vulnerabilities using appropriately tested tools and approaches.

What Are the Details of the Contract?

The Herndon, Virginia-based company will conduct work at various locations, including the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., DOW facilities, and contractor and third-party sites across the U.S. The contract is expected to run through Feb. 5, 2031.

The award was issued as a sole-source Small Business Innovation Research Phase III acquisition, with one offer received. The Air Force District of Washington Contracting Directorate at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, obligated $2.75 million from fiscal year 2026 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

Dark Wolf Solutions Reorganization

The cyberspace innovation contract builds on the Dark Wolf’s earlier reorganization aimed at strengthening its support for defense and intelligence missions amid rising cyber threats. As previously announced, the firm structured its capabilities into four core practices, including cybersecurity, software delivery and cloud, data and artificial intelligence, and mission enablement. The company also expanded its portfolio with RackTop Systems’ BrickStor secure storage products.
