ColorTokens, an enterprise microsegmentation and breach containment services provider, has partnered with SMX to help agencies advance the implementation of zero trust cybersecurity across IT and operational technology environments.
ColorTokens said Thursday the collaboration will leverage SMX’s Elevate platform to fast-track Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Moderate authorization for its Xshield microsegmentation platform. The partnership aims to help agencies safeguard industrial control systems, microgrids and other critical infrastructure.
“The federal government is demanding solutions that combine innovation with compliance at speed,” said Peter LaMontagne, CEO of SMX and 2025 Wash100 Award winner.
“Our partnership with ColorTokens exemplifies that model: Elevate removes the friction from FedRAMP and ongoing compliance, while Xshield delivers the Zero Trust protection agencies need to safeguard critical infrastructure,” LaMontagne continued.
What Zero Trust Protections Does ColorTokens’ Xshield Offer?
The partnership will integrate ColorTokens’ Xshield platform with SMX’s Elevate to enhance cybersecurity and compliance. Xshield delivers agentless, software-defined microsegmentation to prevent lateral movement and contain breaches in critical infrastructure and OT systems.
What Is SMX’s Elevate Platform?
SMX’s Elevate platform streamlines FedRAMP authorization through a secure, managed cloud environment with compliance automation, continuous monitoring and reusable security artifacts that cut time and cost. Paired with Xshield’s visibility and control, Elevate enables agencies to implement zero trust protections faster and more efficiently.
