Chugach Commercial Holdings has acquired Pollard Wireline and Alaska E-Line Services, two Alaskan-owned oilfield service companies offering wireline services, completions and gas lift operations.
CCH said the transactions add new oilfield capabilities to its Alaska-based energy portfolio and expand its presence in the state’s oil and gas sector. Pollard Wireline and Alaska E-Line Services will continue to operate independently, retaining their respective leadership structures and distinct brand identities.
“These acquisitions reflect how we grow at Chugach Commercial Holdings—by investing in strong Alaska-based companies, honoring the legacy they’ve built, and positioning them for long-term success,” said Gwen Welch, CCH president.
What Capabilities Do Pollard Wireline & Alaska E-Line Add?
The two companies bring to CCH field assets such as slickline and electric wireline units and pressure-testing equipment. These physical assets are backed by a human capital of over 160 skilled professionals.
“Wireline and E-Line bring a strong performance track record in Alaska’s energy sector, adding both immediate value and long-term growth potential,” said Peter Andersen, chief operating officer at Chugach.
How Do the Companies Fit Into CCH’s Portfolio?
The firms will operate within CCH’s energy services group, joining Chugach Alaska Services, TCC and Chugach Professional Oilfield Services. The unit delivers oil spill response, marine casualty support, readiness training and staffing services to the state’s oil and gas industry.
The latest transactions build on CCH’s 2024 acquisitions of two Fairbanks-based mechanical contracting firms: H.V.A.C., a sheet metal fabrication specialist, and Alaska Integrated Services, which focuses on building controls and refrigeration systems.
