Former Collins Aerospace executive Christopher Rogers shared on LinkedIn his appointment as Parsons vice president of federal aviation operations. Immediately before joining Parsons, Rogers served for over a year as senior director of automation and precision navigation at RTX business Collins Aerospace, according to his LinkedIn profile.

His previous experience also includes a stint of more than seven years at another RTX unit, Raytheon, where he served last as program director for the company’s Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System program. He had also worked as a senior program manager and business manager for Raytheon.
Rogers earned a Master of Business Administration degree in management of operations and technology, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, both from Bentley University.
Rogers’ appointment as Parsons federal aviation executive follows the company’s announcement in June that it is partnering with IBM to develop an advanced air traffic control system. The collaboration supports Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s call for industry innovators to lead a rapid overhaul of the Federal Aviation Administration’s National Airspace System.
