CALIBRE Systems has promoted Cassie Baxter to vice president of its defense division, the digital transformation company said Tuesday. As VP, Baxter will oversee the execution of assigned defense portfolio projects while supporting the continued growth and sustainability of the division’s business area.
What Experience Does Cassie Baxter Bring to the Role?
Baxter has been with CALIBRE for nearly 15 years, most recently serving as director of the Training and Analytics Solutions Directorate, where she oversaw a profit-and-loss portfolio exceeding $50 million and led a team of more than 150 employees and subcontractors supporting U.S. Army and joint training programs.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she also directed the company’s largest business division, supporting more than 200 personnel in multiple states and countries while overseeing a $1 billion-plus opportunity pipeline, maintaining strong profit margins and achieving a recompete win rate above 90 percent.
Before joining CALIBRE, Baxter served as a program analyst for Planate Management Group and Afghan Strategic Consulting.

CALIBRE President and CEO Richard Pineda said Baxter’s extensive background in training systems, coupled with her operational leadership experience and track record of managing complex programs, makes her well-suited to lead the division’s continued growth and success.
Baxter’s promotion comes as CALIBRE advances its defense technology portfolio through cybersecurity, compliance automation and artificial intelligence initiatives. The company recently achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 and secured “Awardable” designations for compliance automation and AI data platform offerings through partnerships with RegScale and VAST Data Federal.
