Carahsoft Technology has partnered with Cogility Software to offer the latter’s Cogynt.ai platform to federal and state government customers. Under the agreement that the companies announced Thursday, Carahsoft will act as the public sector distributor for the Irvine, California-based Cogility. It will supply the decision intelligence offering through its reseller network and its NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and The Interlocal Purchasing System contracts.

What Is the Cogynt.ai Platform?

Cogynt.ai is a cloud-scalable tool that works to convert datasets into predictive findings customers can explain and audit. It pairs Expert AI Hierarchical Complex Event Processing, a patented Cogility technology, with behavioral analytics, no-code model building and cloud-scale processing. The platform supports different applications, including identifying and mitigating insider threats, in a variety of contexts, like national security, financial services, critical infrastructure protection and efforts to counter fraud, waste and abuse.

What Did Cogility and Carahsoft Officials Say About the Partnership?

Stuart Booth, Cogility’s chief operating officer, said the agreement broadens the platform’s reach among federal and state agencies, citing Carahsoft’s procurement knowledge and reseller base. He said the companies aim to help leaders evaluate risk on an ongoing basis, act on transparent findings and adopt a proactive stance to “get left of harm.”

Michael Adams, program executive for AI solutions at Carahsoft, said Cogynt.ai gives agencies greater confidence in their decisions. He added that the platform’s auditable capabilities offer the transparency and agility needed to operate at scale amid “increasingly dynamic and complex threat environments.”

What Other AI Partnerships Has Carahsoft Formed Recently?

The Cogility deal follows several Carahsoft agreements in the AI and decision intelligence markets. In September, the Reston, Virginia-based company became master government aggregator for Polaris I/O’s AI-enabled decision intelligence platform, ModelOp’s AI management platform and Piazza Consulting Group’s D360 AI suite. Carahsoft also holds a spot on the Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD contract. Lacey Wean, the company’s senior director of geospatial, space and autonomous systems, called SHIELD the expected primary vehicle for Golden Dome procurement.
