What Are the ACV Contract Details?

The award supports continued production of the ACV-30, bringing the total number of vehicles ordered under the contract to more than 150, BAE Systems said Tuesday. Work will be performed in Johnstown and York, Pennsylvania, with additional activities in Charleston, South Carolina, where the government is integrating the KONGSBERG turret.

“This award highlights the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment with the U.S. Marine Corps to equip forces with the capabilities they need to succeed. The additional ACVs keep the program aligned with operational requirements so that Marines are ready for any mission,” said Rebecca McGrane, vice president of amphibious vehicles at BAE Systems.

What Is the ACV-30?

The ACV-30 is a 30mm cannon-equipped variant of the Amphibious Combat Vehicle, designed to provide greater firepower and range capabilities for engaging targets. The ACV is intended to support amphibious operations through enhanced mobility, survivability and operational adaptability.

BAE Systems Contracts Under ACV Program

BAE Systems previously landed contracts to build multiple ACV variants, including the ACV-Personnel, ACV-Command and ACV-Recovery. In 2025, the company secured several Marine Corps contract modifications to support ACV production, including awards worth $188.5 million in March, $181 million in August and $184.4 million in December.
