Carahsoft Technology has partnered with Aperio Global to offer the latter’s governed cognitive infrastructure capabilities to the public sector.

Carahsoft said Tuesday it will serve as Aperio’s master government aggregator, making the company’s artificial intelligence-driven Cognitive Layer Framework available through Carahsoft’s contracting channels and reseller network.

What Capabilities Will Aperio Provide?

Aperio offers capabilities for analyzing different types of operational information, organized into spatial, semantic and environmental cognitive nodes.

Reality Engine converts spatial data and imagery into 3D representations for uses such as mission planning and training, while HelioShield focuses on space weather information derived from solar observations. For information analysis, NLYTEN can examine documents, imagery and audio to help analysts identify connections relevant to mission questions. CipherIQ focuses on cryptographic visibility, risk assessment and planning for migration to post-quantum cryptography.

The partnership adds to Carahsoft’s recent agreements involving AI and information-analysis technologies. Earlier this month, the company partnered with Cogility Software to distribute its Cogynt.ai decision intelligence platform to government customers. In September, Carahsoft also teamed with Polaris I/O to bring its AI-enabled decision intelligence platform to federal, defense and intelligence agencies.

What Did Leadership Say About the Partnership?

Earl Stafford Jr., CEO of Aperio Global and 2025 Wash100 Award winner, said the company’s cognitive infrastructure supports decisions that need to be trusted, defended and acted on. He added that agencies must understand the meaning and origin of their information, as well as how it supports the mission.

Carahsoft Sales Director Michael Adams, a speaker at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2025 Army Summit, said agencies modernizing their security and operational capabilities need trusted technologies to address fast-changing cyber threats. According to Adams, Aperio Global’s offerings provide a modern approach to data intelligence and quantum-resilient security in mission-critical environments.
