CALIBRE said Monday the certification aligns with requirements for contractors handling federal contract information and controlled unclassified information under the CMMC program, which establishes cybersecurity standards across the defense industrial base and verifies the implementation of required security controls.
What Is CMMC Level 2?
According to the company, CMMC Level 2 validates that an organization has implemented and manages cybersecurity practices aligned with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s standards. The certification requires companies to institutionalize security controls and maintain continuous monitoring processes to safeguard sensitive information tied to defense work.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification reflects the disciplined, risk-based approach we’ve embedded across our organization,” said CALIBRE CEO Richard Pineda. “This milestone demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding the sensitive information our defense customers entrust to us while positioning CALIBRE to continue serving as a trusted partner on the missions that matter most.”
