Software development company BTI360 has appointed Jennifer Ewbank, the CIA’s former deputy director for digital innovation, as an advisory board member.
In a LinkedIn post published Monday, Ewbank, a two-time Wash100 awardee, said she is honored to join BTI360’s newly established advisory board.
“BTI360 has built an outstanding reputation for delivering impactful software solutions that support our nation’s most critical missions. With deep roots in the intelligence and defense communities, the company continues to push boundaries in areas like big data analytics, cloud engineering, and generative AI — all while maintaining a strong, team-centric culture,” she noted.

Ewbank’s appointment came days after BTI360 named David Shedd, former acting director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, as advisory board chair.
Who Is Jennifer Ewbank?
During her time at the CIA, Ewbank led the agency’s efforts across artificial intelligence, enterprise IT, cybersecurity, open-source intelligence and data strategy. She also founded the agency’s Office of AI and sponsored the inaugural enterprise AI strategy, according to her LinkedIn profile.
The founder of consulting firm Andaman Strategic Advisors serves as an independent director at DarkOwl and the Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk.
She sits on the advisory boards of RealmOne, Reality Defender and Hilltop Technologies. The national security leader is also a senior adviser at Ankura and The Chertoff Group and a strategic advisory group member at Oracle’s government, defense and intelligence business.
Ewbank started her federal career at the State Department as a foreign service officer.
