Seasoned sales executive Joe Bleich shared on LinkedIn Wednesday his promotion as regional vice president of federal go-to-market initiatives at cloud monitoring platform developer Datadog.
He stepped up from his previous role as senior director of federal sales, a position he held for over two years. He joined the company in October 2021 as federal sales director, tasked with the recruitment and supervision of Datadog’s federal GTM team.
“I’m honored to lead this incredible team, as we continue to invest, and drive customer success in this segment,” Bleich said regarding his promotion. He went on to thank the past and present members of Datadog’s sales leadership team for providing support.
Bleich’s Sales Experience Across Companies
Before joining Datadog, Bleich had a stint of more than seven years as federal sales manager at Red Hat. His previous work experience also includes over one year at TIBCO Software as federal account executive and more than four years as federal sales manager at DLT Solutions. In addition, he previously worked for over six years as sales manager of Golf Fitting Studios.
Bleich holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics and business management from James Madison University, as well as a BBA in business and managerial economics from the same university.
