Bill Lapp, a 12-year veteran of high-performance and cloud computing, has joined San Francisco-based cloud analytics provider GoodData as vice president of sales engineering and enablement.
He most recently led Cisco’s U.S. enterprise collaboration systems engineering organization during the company’s sales transition from individual collaboration technologies to an enterprise collaboration platform, GoodData said Thursday.
Lapp will be responsible for aligning sales and services goals and overseeing the company’s product and service deployment functions.
He will also support the company’s work to continue development of its open analytics platform.
