Verogen’s Forensic Genomics System Gets FBI Approval
FBI has approved the use of Verogen's forensic technology for DNA profiling at federal, state and municipal laboratories. The agency intends to upload resulting DNA profiles into the National DNA Index System, a platform designed to facilitate DNA comparison, Verogen said Thursday. The company's MiSeq FGx forensic genomics system is the first platform authorized for use with NDIS.
