Advancing Aerospace & Defense Innovation

The Boston, Massachusetts-based global software company said Wednesday that the new startup program is intended to provide companies in their early and growth stages access to advanced product development tools, enabling them to fast-track the development and deployment of innovations in the aerospace and defense field.

PTC’s Product Development Software

Under the program, eligible businesses will have free access to the following product development tools:

  • The Creo+ software-as-a-service computer-aided design software features advanced modeling capabilities and support for complex assemblies.
  • Onshape is a cloud-native CAD and product data management platform for agile teams with limited IT overhead, which includes Onshape Government for projects requiring ITAR and EAR compliance.
  • Codebeamer+ is an application lifecycle management tool that supports agile development by offering full requirements and test management with end-to-end traceability.
  • A startup package for Arena PLM and quality management system software will work to help startups maintain compliance and accelerate product development at scale.

In addition to the ability to fast-track the development process and meet compliance requirements, the program also enables startups to build relationships with the PTC’s network of venture capitalists, incubators, partners and other innovators.
