Kevin McEvoy, CEO of deep water energy and engineering services provider Oceaneering International, has joined the board of directors of Emcor Group.
McEvoy was elected to the board at Emcors’ annual meeting of stockholders, the company said Thursday.
He is also the chairman of the National Ocean Industry Association, director of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers’ Association and a member of the National Petroleum Council.
McEvoy first joined Oceaneering in 1984 and has been a member of its board of directors since 2011 in addition to his role as CEO.
Oceaneering provides deep water products and services to the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide.
McEvoy is also a U.S. Navy veteran and served as a lieutenant commander in the Naval Reserve between 1976 and 1989.
