Keith Salzman, chief medical information officer at CACI International, has been recognized by a health information technology professional group for his work in bringing IT offerings to healthcare services.
The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society selected Salzman for the 2013 Physician IT Leadership Award in recognition of his service in the U.S. Army, CACI’s healthcare solutions group and HIMSS’ interoperability and standards committee, CACI said Monday.
Salzman currently serves as committee chairman and is in his second term for that role.
HIMSS will honor Salzman at its annual conference and exhibition on Feb. 25.
