J.D. Crouch, CEO of QinetiQ North America prior to The SI Organization‘s acquisition of QNA’s services business, has joined the nonprofit United Service Organizations as president and CEO.

“He comes to the USO with a record of government service, leadership and innovation, but most important of all, he has a deep and abiding passion for our men and women who serve this country,” Richard Myers, chairman of USO, said.

Crouch served as assistant secretary of defense for international security policy during the presidency of George W. Bush and is also a former U.S. ambassador to Romania in 2004 and deputy national security adviser.

He is the 23rd president and CEO of USO.
