Cloudera Receives DBTA Readers’ Choice Awards for Hadoop, Big Data Services; Mike Olson Comments

Cloudera has been recognized in two categories of Database Trends and Applications magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards for 2015.

The magazine named Cloudera the best Hadoop and big data service for the second consecutive year, Cloudera said Wednesday.

“It is an honor to be recognized by DBTA readers as the best Hadoop solution and the best big data solution,” said Mike Olson, founder and chief strategy officer at Cloudera.

“That readership understands the evolving database market and knows the vendors and products that enterprise users depend upon,” added Olson.

Cloudera’s platform consists of the Impala and Apache Spark open source analytic tools, Cloudera Manager and Cloudera Navigator for security and governance services.
