Spaceflight has received a contract from NASA to perform launch services in support of a mission led by The Aerospace Corp. under the space agency's CubeSat Launch Initiative. Spaceflight said Monday it will use its Sherpa-LTC orbital test vehicle to propel two Low-Latitude Ionosphere/Thermosphere Enhancements in Density cubesats to low-Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

AT&T has received a potential 12-year, $231 million task order to update data and voice communications networks that will support 100,000 Treasury Department personnel. Raytheon Technologies has landed a $63.3 million delivery order from the U.S. Navy to repair APG-65 and APG-73 all-weather multimode airborne radar systems installed on the F/A-18 aircraft. The Navy will obligate $31 million in fiscal year 2021 working capital funds at the time of the award of the delivery order.

Leidos' Dynetics subsidiary has awarded Ascent AeroSystems a follow-on order to manufacture and deliver unmanned aerial systems designed to operate within austere environments. The Spirit UAS has a cylindrical configuration and features a dual payload mount system to allow the integration of various operating concepts such as perch-and-stare capabilities, Ascent said Monday.

CAE's U.S. business arm has secured a contract of an undisclosed sum from the U.S. Air Force to provide and manage the military pilot training activities of 14 Irish Air Corps students over an 18-month period. The initial phase of the pilot training program will be overseen by CAE USA subcontractor SkyWarrior Flight Training and will be conducted in Pensacola, Florida.
