CACI International has received a five-year, $85 million task order to provide engineering, cybersecurity and technical support services for the U.S. Navy.

What Is the Scope of the Navy Task Order?
The company said Tuesday the award supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division’s Naval Architecture and Engineering Department and covers work on ships, submarines and other naval platforms.
The task order, awarded through the service’s SeaPort Next Generation contract vehicle, includes software development, data analysis and control system enhancements to improve the design and operation of naval vessels.
CACI will also provide cybersecurity capabilities to help protect naval systems and sensitive information, along with software platforms for ship design and automatic control systems.

What Other Navy SeaPort NxG Task Orders Has CACI Won?
CACI has secured multiple Navy task orders under the SeaPort NxG vehicle in support of engineering, IT modernization and mission systems.
In January, the company received a five-year, $416 million task order to modernize IT systems for the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution program.
The company also booked a $66 million SeaPort NxG task order to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division engineering efforts, and a separate $123 million task order from Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic to provide defense health readiness engineering support for military health systems.
SeaPort NxG is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract designed to streamline the Navy’s procurement of technical, engineering and other professional support services. It offers new industry partners an opportunity to participate through rolling admissions.
