According to an award notice published Thursday on SAM.gov, the Reston, Virginia-based contractor will support IT programs serving USSOCOM headquarters, its component commands and theater special operations commands. The work covers programs providing both real-time and strategic IT support to the special operations command enterprise.
How Will ASRC Federal Support J6 Operations?
ASRC Federal will provide strategic and operational planning, technical assessments and budget execution support for USSOCOM senior leadership, along with resource planning and management in the command’s programs, contracts and organizational initiatives.
According to the solicitation notice, the work covers acquisition planning, reviews of future requirements and program documentation for IT contracts, as well as monitoring contractor performance against service-level agreements and quality-assurance metrics. Budget-related duties include cost estimates, invoice reconciliation and preparation of budget submissions. ASRC Federal will also handle data analysis and support working groups and meetings.
What Are the Contract Details?
USSOCOM awarded the contract Sept. 16, with a total value of $64 million, including all options. The project will be primarily performed at USSOCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Naval Special Warfare in Coronado, California. Other government worksites may be required, with task orders identifying the exact locations.
The contract follows the ASRC Federal subsidiary’s $75 million Delta Code recompete contract awarded by the Drug Enforcement Administration in August. Under that award, the company is supporting the DEA’s Concorde enterprise IT environment, including application development, testing, requirements analysis and operations and maintenance.
