MANTECH has appointed Scott Keenan as vice president of growth for its defense and space sector. The company announced the move on LinkedIn Thursday.

In his new role, Keenan will oversee business development, capture and proposal activities for MANTECH’s defense and space sector, guiding go-to-market efforts through the company’s Account Based Sales and Delivery model. He is also tasked with broadening partnerships and supporting technology deployment.
Who Is Scott Keenan?
Keenan is a growth executive with decades of leadership experience supporting government and national security missions. He most recently served as managing director of public sector growth at Verizon Business, where he led business development and capture activities for the company’s public sector organization.
Before joining Verizon, he worked at General Dynamics Information Technology, where he held roles such as VP of defense agencies and military intelligence programs and senior director of new business capture. His responsibilities included overseeing growth and capture activities for homeland security and defense-related opportunities and managing business operations supporting defense agencies and military intelligence programs.
Earlier in his career, Keenan served at the National Naval Medical Center and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. He was also a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy’s Civil Engineer Corps.
How Does Keenan’s Appointment Fit Into MANTECH’s Leadership Strategy?
Keenan’s appointment marks the latest in a series of leadership moves at MANTECH this year. In July, the company appointed Eric Brown chief product officer, elevated Kristen Summers to chief data and AI officer and promoted Brandy Durham to chief technology officer. Earlier, MANTECH named Sarah Carter chief growth officer in May and appointed retired Army Gen. Bryan Fenton to its board of directors in April.
