General Dynamics Combines Encryptor With Klas Telecom’s Data Networking System

General Dynamics' mission systems business and Klas Telecom's government unit have partnered to offer a data networking platform with a Type 1 encryption technology built to help military customers secure tactical computing functions and communications.

The Klas Voyager System now includes the TACLANE-Nano encryptor that has been certified by the National Security Agency for classified information access and sharing, General Dynamics said Tuesday.

TACLANE-Nano is designed to protect voice, data and video communications up to the Top Secret level and encrypt at 200 megabits per second.

Washington, D.C.-based Klas Telecom offers modular and tactical communications products to the government, defense, public safety and transportation markets.
