PAE has secured a potential four-year, $25.1 million Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East contract to install, test and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan, the company announced Tuesday.

Work under the contract, which has one base year and three option years, will take place at MCAS Iwakuni,  the company said Tuesday.

“PAE started 65 years ago by providing the U.S. government critical services to rebuild Japan and other parts of Asia after World War II,” said John Heller, president and CEO of PAE and five-time Wash100 Award recipient.

“That legacy of dependable service continues today as we support the Navy at the air station in Iwakuni.”

The company will provide all labor, management, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation and engineering to perform HVAC system maintenance, testing and installation services for all facilities at the installation.

In April, a PAE and Benham joint venture secured a task order from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Japan District to prepare the basic criteria package for "MC4006-T Town Center, MC4007-T Town Center Post Office and MC4017-T Town Center Parking Structure North in Camp Hansen."
