Hewitt's extensive experience in government contracting (GovCon) will improve the company's growth strategy, revenue goals and sustainable initiatives. In Hewitt's new role with DirectViz Solutions, he will develop growth strategy and execution to meet growth goals and leverage the company's workforce, which will power change across Civilian, Defense and Intel divisions as well as the private sector.
Hewitt will also be responsible for transitioning DirectViz from a small business to compete in full and open market. He will lead the company's performance to encompass Business Development, Proposal Development, Capture and Marketing team implementation of short and long-range strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Hewitt has most recently served as senior vice president (SVP) at Kingfisher Systems, Inc. As SVP, he established growth strategies by ensuring cyber, intelligence solutions and technologies align with Federal customers and Kingfisher Systems, Inc.'s business pipeline.
Previously, Hewitt was senior vice president of Business Development for over 10 years at MetroStar Systems. He was also president of Hewitt Strategies & Solutions, a business development consulting firm centrally focused on increasing revenue growth, customer marketing, partnering and creating customer and shareholder value.
Prior to his role at Hewitt Strategies & Solutions, Hewitt served as director for the federal enterprise solutions group at Siemens Building Technologies. He led business development activities for federal market programs for security systems, energy, building automation and fire safety business segments.
Hewitt served as director of business operations with ACS Government Solutions before joining Siemens. As director, he was responsible for planning, organizing, and directing professional staff involved in the preparation and maintenance of management control systems for large, highly-complex seat management contracts, programs and projects.
