A group running the DopplePaymer ransomware announced in a blog post that they hacked the network of Digital Management Inc., one of NASA’s information technology contractors, ZDNet reported Wednesday.

The ransomware operators published on a dark web portal 20 NASA-related archive files, including project plans, employee details and human resources documents, to support their claims of breach.

The threat actors also released a list of 2,583 workstations and servers that they said are part of DMI’s internal network. The gang said those systems have been encrypted for ransom purposes.
