Leidos has received a potential five-and-a-half-year, $75M prime contract to help U.S. defense entities deliver network operations and maintain information technology systems.

The General Services Administration selected Leidos to serve as the main contractor of an effort to support the network and IT needs of U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command, the firm said Tuesday.

Services under the contract include cybersecurity support, information transmission, network monitoring, computing and technical management.

“Leidos is proud to keep NORAD and USNORTHCOM warfighters connected as they defend citizens and interests in North America,” said Daniel Voce, senior vice president for enterprise cyber and solutions at Leidos.

The contract holds a one-year base period, four option years and a six-month option. Leidos will perform work at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado and the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.
