Mitre to Provide Procurement, Technical Advice for SSA’s Telephone Service Contract Consolidation Effort
The Social Security Administration has awarded Mitre a potential $1.5M contract to provide technical and acquisition advice as SSA works to consolidate three telephone service contracts into a single vehicle to deliver an enterprisewide unified communication platform. SSA said in a justification-and-approval notice posted Wednesday on FedBizOpps Mitre will help SSA in the source-selection process, implementation and transition to the proposed Next Generation Telephony Project contract.
