General Dynamics has received a potential three-year, $42.4M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply gun barrels to the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
Deloitte has won a five-year, $63.7M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide business and technology management support services for the U.S. Navy. The company will provide such services for the service's deputy chief of naval operations for manpower, personnel, training and education and other subordinate commands under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
BAE Systems has won a potential five-year, $84.3M contract to provide direct labor engineering services for the U.S. Navy. The company’s technology solutions and services business will provide integration, requirements and solutions definition assistance, operation and sustainment, integration and installation verification and validation support under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday. General Dynamics is working with General Electric’s additive print services business to integrate a 3D printing system into the production of metal components for combat vehicle platforms. GE said Wednesday it will help General Dynamics' land systems segment to qualify, produce and conduct post processing and inspection of 3D-printed vehicle parts under the partnership agreement. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
