The Bank Administration Institute has selected a cloud service run by XO Communications to manage data backup and disaster recovery processes.
BAI intends for the XO Enterprise Cloud to help virtualize and replicate systems, as well as to reduce recovery time objectives to two days from two weeks, XO announced Tuesday.
XO Enterprise Cloud is designed as an enterprise service that leverages tier-three data centers and XO’s nationwide network to offer customers infrastructure-as-a-service offerings.
XO also aims to give customers multiple network connectivity options for accessing the enterprise cloud platform and multiple computing resource allocation options.
