Steven Miller, a retired U.S. Navy commander, has joined The SPECTRUM Group to utilize his experience in the private and public sectors for the company’s customers.
Retired Navy Vice Admiral Stephen Loftus, TSG chairman and CEO, said that the company will rely on Miller’s experience in the geographic information systems within the U.S. intelligence community, he said in a statement released Friday.
“[Miller] will be an important asset to our small- and medium-sized clients looking to expand their business either through organic growth or acquisition. We are delighted to have him on board,” Loftus added.
Miller was most recently DigitalGlobe‘s senior director for the defense and intelligence communities. During this time, he handled a project that brought new GIS projects online.
During Miller’s time in the U.S. Navy, he served two senior tours at the Pentagon.
