Parsons Exec Scott Goldstein Joins MicroVision’s Defense Advisory Board

Parsons Corporation executive Scott Goldstein has been appointed to the defense advisory board of MicroVision. The technology company announced Wednesday that the defense advisory board was created to support its expansion into the defense and military sectors by pursuing partnerships and customer opportunities.

Who Is Scott Goldstein?

Goldstein currently serves as senior vice president at Parsons Corporation. He previously worked at Anduril Industries, holding the position of chief scientist from 2021 through 2023. Since then, he has been serving as a member of the company’s advisory board. His other earlier employers include SAIC, ManTech, QinetiQ North America and Dynetics.

Goldstein had also served in the U.S. Air Force for over four decades. He retired in 2023 with the rank of major general.

Remarks by MicroVision’s Sumit Sharma

Commenting on the appointment, MicroVision CEO Sumit Sharma said that he was thrilled to welcome Goldstein to the advisory board.

“The breadth and depth of his highly relevant experience, expertise, and network greatly enhances MicroVision’s ability to deliver our safety technologies and autonomous solutions to mission-critical operations,” Sharma said.
