Murray Sargant Joins Informatica as SVP of the Asia Pacific Region and Japan

Murray Sargant, formerly a vice president at SuccessFactors, has been appointed Informatica SVP of the Asia Pacific region and Japan, the company said Monday.

He will work out of the Hong Kong office and be responsible for business, sales and customer facing operations for the company.

“To compete globally as well as regionally, companies in Asia Pacific require innovative data management solutions to realize the full potential of their business information,” said Murray Sargant, senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan.

Prior to SuccessFactors, Sargant served as SVP of financial services at SAP.

Sargant has also held leadership roles at PeopleSoft, Misys, Compaq, Tandem Computers and NCR Corp.
