Matthew Schmitz Joins Dynetics as Technical Services Business VP

Matthew Schmitz, formerly a vice president at Huntsville, Alabama-based engineering and program management services provider Intrepid, has been named VP of the technical services business at Dynetics.

Dynetics said April 10 Schmitz will oversee the unit’s business development strategy and enterprise growth initiatives in his new position.

Schmitz has almost 20 years of business development and operations management experience at multiple defense companies.

He previously held the role of BD director at Intrepid, Kratos Defense and Security and Wyle (now part of KBR).

Schmitz also worked as assistant general manager for the Harlem Globetrotters exhibition basketball team and an account manager for the National Basketball Association.
