Clint Green, former chief technology officer at ViON subsidiary Ascolta, has been appointed director of advanced analytic strategy and development at the Herndon, Virginia-based information technology infrastructure services provider.
ViON said Wednesday he helped establish Ascolta’s strategic framework and technical vision and has worked on big data, analytics, Hadoop, networking and disaster recovery platforms throughout his career.
“Clint brings a wealth of big data analytics expertise and experience to ViON that will enhance our solutions and the value they bring our customers,” said ViON CEO Tom Frana.
Green previously worked as vice president and CTO of L-3 Communications‘ former national security solutions business, VP of global services at Koverse, director of big data solutions at Iron Bow Technologies and senior innovation engineer and infrastructure architect at Data Tactics Corp.
He also served in various positions at EMC, most recently as senior technology consultant of federal backup, recovery and archive for cloud optimized storage.
