Lockheed, Air Force Test Hypersonic Weapon Tech
Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Air Force demonstrated an air-launched rapid response weapon on a military bomber aircraft during a captive carry test held last week at Edwards AF Base in California. The AGM-183A ARRW technology was tested with the B-52 Stratofortress aircraft and will undergo additional ground and flight tests over the next three years, the company said Monday.
